Limit TV Time: Kids Take Their Imagination Vertical

Hey folks! I got this amazing opportunity for my kiddo and I had to take it. When your child gets the chance to play with a cool new product like the AtmosFlare 3D Pen Set, you go for it. If it helps you limit TV time, even better!

{I was provided with the AtmosFlare 3D Pen Set and compensated for the time it took me to write this post. It’s the way I keep this blog up and running. As always, I don’t share any products with you that I wouldn’t buy myself. The opinions and thoughts are my own.This post contains affiliate links, all opinions are my own.}

I am always on the lookout for creative ways to limit my kiddos TV time. These days homework and sports help me out a lot. But…what about all the days in between?

There is no thought involved on my part with the AtmosFlare 3D Pen Set. This is where us parents can sit back and watch our children’s imagination take on new heights.

When your kiddo says, “Mom, this is so cool.” You think…I may be on to something here. When he repeats, “This is so cool!” You think…YAY! He really likes it. When he starts drawing vertical and asks “How does it do this?” in amazement, you know you made the right decision.

Garrett watched the videos from AtmosFlare 3D Pen (you can see the videos here) and wanted to replicate what they did. Then he got adventurous and did his own thing.

At this point, he was having way too much fun and I had to get in on the action. Still no thoughts of TV and now I get to play with him. Enough said!

[Note-The videos say that they are drawing on construction paper but for free standing (something you can lift away) draw on plastic. I got to thinking…plastic? I came up with the perfect everyday household item idea. WAX PAPER. It works like a charm. I always have a roll in my kitchen drawer. You can also see through the wax paper so it makes the perfect material to use if you want to trace. Print off anything you want to trace and place the paper under the wax paper. Trace and cure. The dried ink comes off of the wax paper easily.]

If I was going to play, I just knew we had to incorporate the blog name…lol. I printed off what needed to be traced and away we went. One long horizontal line was drawn and the letters were attached. Voila!

As you can see, we had a lot of fun with the AtmosFlare 3D Pen Set. TV time never even crossed the kiddo’s mind. I kinda loved watching what he could do with a pen that could draw vertical. A child’s imagination taking on new heights is something to behold.

      Hi Cassie! Thanks for stopping by! The kiddo begged and begged me to play with this 3D Pen. Being a blogger, as you know, I had to be in the right mind set to snap the pictures. When I finally told him it was the day, he went crazy. He didn’t worry about watching TV at all!

  1. Ohhhhh, that’s awesome! I want one, I want one, I want one. My husband wants one! I bet all my nieces and nephews want one! OK, I’ve settled down now but, this is seriously amazing and his look of concentration is so cute 😀
