Summer temps have finally arrived so I have got to tell you how to make these super easy Homemade Popsicles. You will be surprised at how easy they are to make and I promise you won’t be sorry. The kids will love to eat them and love to help make them.
Have you ever wanted to make your own popsicles at home? Did you know that the sky is the limit? You can make them as easy as you want, as healthy as you want, few ingredients, or many ingredients. It’s totally up to you. You can add in fruit or even chocolate chips. Get creative….it’s all up to you.
I love lemonade so I’m going to show you how to make homemade popsicles using my super easy 2 Ingredient lemonade popsicle recipe.
No matter what homemade popsicles you decide to make, you only need 3 items, some freezer space, and the ingredients to make these homemade popsicles. So grab the kiddos and let’s get started.
I mixed up a gallon batch of lemonade from my favorite powdered drink mix. The initials are CTL. Can you guess what lemonade it is? (I was not paid for this post…lol.)
All you need are some 9 ounce paper cups, popsicle sticks, aluminum foil, and some freezer space.
Once you have your supplies ready to go, it’s time to assemble your homemade popsicles.
Fill the cups 3/4 of the way full with lemonade (or drink of choice).
Your liquid is poured…now what?
Place a small piece of aluminum foil over your filled cup.
Use a small knife to make a slit into the foil or carefully poke your popsicle stick through the foil.
Place into the freezer for at least 8 hours or overnight until frozen. (Overnight is best.)
Remove foil and make sure the popsicle is completely frozen.
Use scissors to make a cut in the cup.
Peel away the cup from the popsicle and you’re done. I put the popsicles in ziptop bags and place in the freezer until ready to use. You can get the full printable directions below.
