I’m on Dr. Seuss overload! If you follow on Instagram you will see I have been up to my eyeballs working on Read Across America Week and Dr. Seuss’s birthday celebration at the kiddos school. It’s one of my most favorite PTO events through the school year. Being that PTO has had me so busy lately, I needed a quick and easy costume for Garrett to wear during the school’s costume parade. Taking my own advice from last years Green Eggs and Ham costume post, I pulled in a couple of Garrett’s friends and made an addition to a previous costume. Candy Corn is a huge addiction in my house. I think it’s because you can only really find it this time of year. With Halloween only a few days away, it’s time to put in gear those last minute ideas. Sometimes, I procrastinate or just get too busy and realize I need something super easy and super quick to top off my holiday. Do you remember that Monster Munch recipe I posted last week? Well, I made so much that it had to be shared. I could just throw it in a ziploc bag and share it with my friends and neighbors. But, that’s just not my style. I probably have every size treat bag that you can imagine on hand at all times. Since I keep them in stock, I might as well use them. If I’m going to use a treat bag then I’m going to need some kind of label or topper. This is where my Spooktacular Treat Bag Toppers come in handy.
Halloween is approaching soon and I’ve been having a ball making sweet treats like this Monster Munch. I found this cute little hand towel that says, “A witch and her little monsters live here.” I think the towel is so adorable and I love all the spooky colors. Right then and there the towel became my inspiration for this treat.
It’s Fall Y’all! These 3 Ingredient Peanut Butter Pumpkins are the perfect treat for fall. The weather may still be warm in my neck of the woods but I know it’s Fall just by looking at my yard…It’s covered with leaves.
I’ve been busy testing new ideas for Halloween treats lately. Let me tell you they are delicious! I’ve also been pulling out the tried and true treats. I already knew that they were good! In all my Halloween treat glory, I needed a cute way to distribute these yummy little snacks. I love passing out snacks in little treat or goodie bags. If you know me at all then you will know I can’t just hand out halloween treats in a plain old bag. Therefore, I created a couple of cute little Halloween treat bag toppers.
