Summer is slowly fading away and the kids are back in school. I don’t know about you but this first week back to school has wiped me out. I’ve really been cooking the easiest meals imaginable. One of those easy go to recipes is my Caesar Parmesan Crusted Chicken. Sometimes, I need a fresh take on the plain old boring chicken breast. I love Caesar salad and Caesar dressing so why not add that flavor to the chicken itself.
PTO Survival Kit With Free Printable
As some of you may know, I am starting a 2nd year as PTO President at my kiddos school. We’ve been super busy getting ready for the new school year. My house now looks like hurricane PTO hit and left total devastation in it’s wake! But really, who cares?! It’s gonna be that way all year! This PTO Survival Kit is one thing that will make my life a little easier this school year.
Being on the PTO is one of the most rewarding things I have ever done in my life! Nothing compares to the smiling faces of hundreds of kids when you tell them enough money has been raised to buy new playground equipment or new iPads. The kids get equally excited when the PTO fills the halls with the buttery smell of popcorn and they know a snack is coming their way. It is truly something to behold!
All us parents work extremely hard to make our events successful, raise money, and spoil the teachers and students rotten. We can’t forget about those parents who give endlessly to make our schools better for our children. The parents need to be spoiled a little from time to time as well.
Being as I have been the PTO President in the past, I know a few tips and tricks to help one survive the PTO. Therefore, I have created a PTO Survival Kit and free printable to use with the kit. It’s just the right stuff one will need to make it through a year on the PTO.

Four Cheese Alfredo Stuffed Shells
I am a very busy momma right now! With school starting, pee-wee football, and PTO….I need some super easy dishes to get on the table in no time. This dish is one of my all time favorites! The alfredo sauce is super simple and taste fabulous over these four cheese stuffed shells. There is some prep work involved but the best part…this recipe is a perfect addition to your freezer meals! Who couldn’t take a little help from a homemade meal straight from your own freezer?

Bacon Cauliflower Salad…I bet I had you at bacon!
I love anything with bacon! My husband isn’t a big fan of cauliflower but he absolutely loves this salad! He actually will go back for a second helping. I have a feeling it’s all because of the bacon. This Bacon Cauliflower salad is the perfect make ahead addition to your next cookout, potluck, or holiday. I promise it will be a hit…even with those that aren’t fans of cauliflower.

Coastal Inspired Bench Makeover When Your Home Is Totally Landlocked
My mom loves all things coastal but she lives no where near the beach. Her home is completely landlocked. Dilemma…How do you add that coastal beach feel without going overboard? I’m always leery when adding decor that doesn’t quite fit the region where I live. I think it can be done as long as you use an editing eye. Since we were needing to feel a blank spot in her family room, I decided this bench would be the perfect way to add a little of that beach vibe.
